Join us for a special Earth Day Celebration with Slow Food East End and all of our wonderful sponsors and vendors, April 19th from 1pm-4pm at Golden Acres Organic Farm in Jamesport, NY (652 Peconic Bay Blvd, Jamesport, NY 11947.) All are welcome and free to attend! We will have live music, local food tastings, fresh Long Island oysters, local art and craft vendors, Activist groups, educators, farmers, wine from Long Island producers and so much more!

Enjoy food by Lombardi’s Love Lane Market, freshly shucked Peconic Gold oysters, local wine tastes by Cab Franc Forward and live music by Points East. Local growers will be selling flowers, seeds, eggs, herbs and more.

Learn sustainable practices in the honor of Earth Day, by planting a seedling to take home and connecting with local growers and experts for tips on gardening, composting and seed starting. Meet local artists, shop for great books, treats and sweets. We will have kids crafts, an ecofriendly egg hunt, face painting and live demos will round out the afternoon.

And we are so excited to be able to use Golden Acres Organic Farm as our event site this year! Golden Acre Organic Farm was one of the first organically planted farms on the East End and has since earned a Snail of Approval for its soil, business and community practices. We can’t wait to celebrate Earth Day there with our East End Community.
Check out the full list of our 2025 Earth Day vendors and sponsors below. They have all helped make this event so successful and allow us to continue to provide programming like this for free or low cost to our community. Thank you all!
