Lauren Lombardi, owner and operator of Lombardi’s Love Lane Market, hosts our March Community Potluck in the open and inspiring home of co-host Brie DeChance. Come celebrate the change of season with us in the heart of East Marion, known for its farmland, beaches, parks and the North Fork’s lavender farm, Lavender by the Bay!
Slow Food East End’s Community Potluck Dinners are all about YOU! Our diverse community of Food Lovers, Food Growers and Food Producers. Whether you are a Slow Food member or just want to learn more about who we are and what we do, we welcome you to join us!
Our “Know Your Farmer” Educational Series Continues…
The guest speaker will be Master Farmer, Lucy Senesac. Lucy is one of Slow Food East End’s three Master Farmers, working in the Edible School Garden Program at North Fork schools. She will play a key part in executing a $68,000 state grant that six local school districts received in November. Lucy was recently named 2016 Businessperson of the Year by The Suffolk Times for her commitment to sustainable food production and educating children of the North Fork in farming and healthy eating practices.
